God is so loving to us. So gracious and patient. He speaks to us each uniquely, and into each season of our lives. Our desire in you interacting with this Prayer Wall, and even your involvement of Cru, is that this would just be a piece of your overall story of what God is doing in your hearts and lives.
After a busy semester, followed by a busy Holiday season, we want to give you a second to pause. Grab both a big and small piece of paper from the table. On the larger piece take a few moments to journal and reflect on the last semester, your heart coming into CruWC, and how the first two stations might be fitting into the bigger picture of what God is speaking into your life.
After you take a chance to journal, take the smaller piece of paper and write a 1-2 sentence prayer to God about what you are processing and then tack it on panel 3.
Here are a few questions/ideas to get you started:
God loves you immensely. As we meditate and abide in his love (John 15:9) we naturally grow in our relationship with him. Part of that is growing in our prayer life. Spend some time talking to God and listening to him about his love for you. How have you seen ways he’s loved you? Allow that to start your prayer and processing time.
- How have you seen God answer prayers in your life or the lives of others?
How is God growing your understanding and heart for the nations? How might he be calling you to be apart of it? What opportunities to cross-cultures has he put right in front of you?
How might God be using the content from the first two panels to speak into areas he is teaching you about or asking you to enter into even if it feels uncomfortable?
- Are there common trends in your life over the past semester, or even over the duration of CruWC, that God might be trying to use to speak into your life?
